Prof. Mahmoud Faruqui
Professor . Mahmood Faruqui is a Fulbright Fellow with Master of Comparative Laws from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a senior Lawyer and advises Regulators & private sector on Islamic Finance matters e.g. Shariah Rules, Shariah compliant Documentation, master agreements, Standardisation of procedures and Regulatory issues. He was Advisor/ Board Member of Habib Bank, Faysal Bank, Alfaysal Investment Bank, Shamil Bank Bahrain, DMI Group Geneva, and Habib Bank AG Zurich, London and was Chairman of Banks’ Presidents Committee for introducing Islamic Banking in Pakistan.
