Jane Kinninmont
Jane Kinninmont (BA, MSc) is an editor and economist at the Economist Intelligence Unit, specialising in the Middle East. Prior to joining the EIU in 2006, Jane was the managing editor of the Middle East and Africa department at Business Monitor International, a risk analysis firm. Jane also writes on politics, economics, social and cultural issues in the Middle East for newspapers, magazines and websites around the world, including the Guardian, the Los Angeles Times, the South China Morning Post, Gulf News, and The Arab. Jane has a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Balliol College, Oxford University, and a MSc in International Politics from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies ". She is also a poet with one collection published to date.
